Shopmobility Melton Mowbray’s objectives are the relief of persons with impaired mobility, primarily, but not exclusively, in Melton Mowbray, by providing or assisting in the provision of mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and scooters, and by working with groups or organisations, in order to enable such persons to gain access to shops, businesses and places of interest and thereby enhance their quality of life.
The scheme provides the loan of electric scooters and manual wheelchairs to enable access to shops, business and places of interest in Melton Mowbray town centre.
